Purchase price, current value and replacement value are different figures. Groups need the replacement value for insurance without muddying normal stock records.

A defect report is only useful if it reaches the quartermaster and appears before the next booking. This helps stop damaged or incomplete kit being packed for camp.

Kit-level QR labels and scan actions

Why it matters

Some kit lives in boxes, patrol crates or activity kits. Scanning the container should be able to save time where item-by-item scanning would be overkill.

Booking emails are now available to help groups keep track of kit going out, kit due back and overdue returns. Group admins and quartermasters can receive a daily digest, while linked borrowers can receive return reminders.

Bookings only work well when people trust the dates and remember what needs to come back. These emails help reduce missed returns, give quartermasters better visibility and make the booking system more useful without adding extra admin.

Inventory sub-categories

You can now organise inventory with optional sub-categories, making it easier to group, search and filter equipment, uniform and badges.

Why it matters

Groups with larger inventories can now keep their category list tidy while still adding useful detail. For example, Camping can include Tents, Tarps and Sleeping Mats, while Uniform can include Shirts, Scarves and Woggles.

New Help Centre and refreshed public guide

Wogglebox now has a clearer Help Centre with dedicated guides for getting started, inventory, bookings, repairs, uniform, members, Wogglebox+ and support. The public guide has also been updated so new groups can better understand what Wogglebox does before signing up.

Why it matters

As Wogglebox has grown, the old help content had started to fall behind the live app. The new guides make it easier for group admins, quartermasters and leaders to find the right instructions without digging through one long help page.

Repairs & Checks workspace upgrade
