Is Wogglebox actually free?
Yes. The core platform includes inventory, bookings, repairs, uniform, member roles and onboarding imports, with no time limit. Wogglebox+ adds advanced features like QR code labels, the Uniform Shop request workflow, Equipment Kits, custom print and PDF checklists, inventory image galleries, repair images, group branding, CSV/Excel exports and ongoing bulk import for groups that need them.
Does this replace Online Scout Manager?
No. Wogglebox is designed to complement OSM, not replace it. OSM is excellent for programme, badges, membership, and general group admin. Wogglebox focuses specifically on equipment, uniform stock, bookings, repairs, and practical kit workflows. They work alongside each other.
What is a Quartermaster in Scouts?
A Quartermaster is the volunteer responsible for managing a Scout group's equipment and kit. This includes tracking what the group owns, keeping it maintained, organising it for camps and activities, and making sure items get returned. Wogglebox gives Quartermasters a proper tool instead of spreadsheets and memory.
Can I import our existing kit list?
Yes. Wogglebox supports CSV and Excel imports during onboarding, including a best-effort import from Online Scout Manager PDF exports. You can also bulk-import serialised units (individually numbered items like radios or buoyancy aids) with grouping support.
How many people can use it?
There's no user limit. You can invite Group Admins, Quartermasters, Leaders, and Viewers — each with permissions that match their role. When someone leaves, the group's data stays intact.
Is it just for Scouts?
Wogglebox is built for UK Scout groups first — Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, and Network — but the platform supports any volunteer organisation that manages shared equipment. The onboarding lets you choose your group type and adjusts categories accordingly.
What happens to our data?

Yes. Wogglebox supports multi-section groups. A group with Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts can manage all their equipment in one place, and the booking system prevents double-booking across sections.
